The Etowah County Board of Education employs 27 nurses to work in all county schools. They are employed through a cooperative program of blended funding from programs within the school system in addition to State funding.

Scoliosis Screening

Etowah County Schools offers yearly scoliosis screenings for students in grades 5 – 9.  If you are interested in having your child screened, please contact your school nurse for more information.  You must complete a consent form in order to have your child screened.
