Title I

The Etowah County School System has sixteen Title I schools:

Title II Part A

Preparing, Training and Recruiting High-Quality Teachers and Principals, or Other School Leaders. Sec 2101

Title II, Part A purpose is to increase student achievement consistent with the challenging state academic standards, improve and increase the quality and number of effective teachers, principals, and other school leaders who are effective in improving student academic achievement in schools. To provide low income and minority students with greater access to effective teachers, principals, and other school leaders.

LEAs are required to provide services for eligible private school students as well as eligible public school students.

Dissemination of Assessment Results

Required State Assessments will be administered as directed by the ALSDE.

Assessment results will be distributed to stakeholders as required. Click Alabama Comprehensive Assessment Programs for a list of assessments.

The ACCESS for ELL Assessment is administered in the spring of each year. After results are received by our school system during the summer months, they are distributed to the schools to be sent home to parents with the first report card of the ensuing school year.
