Etowah County School Foundation

The Etowah County School Foundation is a non-profit organization, 501(C)(3), founded in 2005, managed by an eight member Board of Directors.

Mission The mission of the Etowah County School Foundation is to be a non-profit fund-raising organization that will generate and distribute resources to teachers and students of all Etowah County Schools for programs, activities, and projects to enhance the quality of education.

Vision We envision the Etowah County School Foundation to serve as an additional financial source to enhance instruction and provide students with excellence in education.

How Can I Support the Etowah County School Foundation?

There are several ways to support the Etowah County School Foundation. Tax-deductible donations and event sponsorships are the preferred ways individuals, corporations, and institutions may participate in foundation activities and campaigns.

Student Scholarship Checklist and Application

The Etowah County School Foundation is now accepting Student Scholarship Applications.

*The deadline to submit an Etowah County School Foundation Student Scholarship application is April 5, 2024.

Incomplete applications or applications submitted after April 5, 2024, will not be considered.

*Only high school seniors who attend one of the six Etowah County High Schools (Gaston, Glencoe, Hokes Bluff, Sardis, Southside, and West End) will be considered.

Get ready to lace up your running shoes and show your support for the students of Etowah County Schools! Join us for the Etowah County School Foundation Student Scholarship 5K Run/Walk, set to take place on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at the scenic Noccalula Falls. This trail run covers a gravel path, making for an exhilarating experience. The course will make use of Noccalula Falls Multi-Use Trails, clearly marked and easy to navigate for both runners and walkers alike. Don't miss this opportunity to support education and fitness in our community!

5K Course Start on the campground side to the Black Creek Trail to 1.0, then right on Red (Whatley), left on Purple (Cascade), straight to Green (Family Loop), left-back on Black Creek Trail back to the Chapel.
