Valid Alabama Teaching Certificate or letter from the university stating application for certification has been submitted to the State Department of Education
Proof of Highly Qualified Status (if applicable to the discipline) which consists of a Highly Qualified Letter from the Alabama State Department of Education or Praxis Test Score Report verifying a passing score on the appropriate Alabama Praxis II Test
Transcript from university with degree posted
Three current letters of reference

Applicants who have never been fingerprinted with the Alabama State Department of Education or who were fingerprinted before July 1, 1999, must be fingerprinted if recommended for a position. Click https://www.aps.gemalto.com/al/index_adeNew.htm for fingerprint procedure.
