THE NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY
Carolyn G. Lee Chapter
West End High School
The National Honor Society is an academic organization founded to
create enthusiasm for scholarship, stimulate a desire to render service,
promote worthy leadership and to encourage the development of character
in secondary students.
West End High School was granted a charter in 2001,
and inducted thirty-one charter members into the club.
Membership is open to junior and senior members
of the school, and is based on academics as well as leadership skills
and commitment to others. A student is issued an invitation to join
upon reaching junior status in school while maintaining an overall
3.0 average, based on 4.0.
