1. Go to our website: www.ecboe.org
2. Click on the REGISTER button at the top right of the page.
3. Enter your birthdate at click SUBMIT (you must be 18 or older).
4. Fill out the form that displays.
5. Please sign into the website now using the Sign-In Name and password that you assigned yourself. This can
be done by either clicking on the SIGN IN button at the top right of the site, or by clicking on the hyperlink below the acceptance message.
6. Once signed in, click on MY ACCOUNT (top right) and then EDIT ACCOUNT SETTINGS.
7. You will now see your profile displayed via four tabs.
8. In the ALERTS tab, you may add your mobile number to receive text messages. If you only want emergency text messages (not just school events), click “Send me only emergency mobile E-alerts.”
9. Click on SUBSCRIPTIONS. Click on ADD AREA. 10. Click Etowah County School System. Doing so will ensure that you receive district-wide information, particularly emergency events.
11. Be sure to subscribe to your child’s school specifically to receive daily announcements and updates.
You may select any additional pages that apply to you or your child/children, such as teacher pages (Mrs. Smith), activities (football), and/or clubs (Builders). Click Other Areas to select those pages.
