Glencoe Elementary School's Library is named for the first principal and library founder, Miss Josephine Booker.  The library houses a large collection of books divided into Easy Readers, Fiction, Nonfiction, Biography, and Reference sections.  Nonfiction books are arranged by the Dewey Decimal System.
The library's collection is managed by circulation software from Follett.  Each classroom is able to search the collection by OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog).
A current listing of titles that have Accelerated Reader tests is available by clicking the links on the left of the page.  If you have any questions about the Josephine Booker Library please email our librarian, Miss Ivy Mordecai.
