Southside High School is the largest high school in the Etowah County School District. SHS serves over 800 students in grades 9-12 from the Southside and Rainbow City area. Our school proudly offers a variety of educational and extracurricular opportunities for our students.

All juniors will take the ACT + Writing Exam Wednesday, April 23rd. Please be on time, do not bring your cell phone, bring a calculator and a light weight jacket. The test will begin shortly after the tardy bell on Wednesday, April 23rd.
Applications for next year's AP & Pre - AP courses can be picked up outside of Mrs. Tucker's office this week. They must be turned back into their respective teachers or Mrs. Tucker by Thursday, April 17th.
